I was spoiled for choice for this weeks Living Arrows post. Archie and I travelled up together to Scotland last Friday to stay with the family over Easter. It’s been fun packed from the moment we arrived. On the Sunday we took off to the beach at North Berwick as it was the first day of Spring and the sun was shining. Before we headed to the beach we stopped off at Merryhatton Garden Centre for a cuppa and a bite to eat whilst Archie had his lunch. We had a great couple of hours on the beach and even managed a game of tennis. Who would have guessed that?
Living Arrows is a weekly photography project organised by Hayley at Shutterflies. She describes the project as ‘a moment of parenthood that made you feel inspired to press the shutter.’ The name is derived from a passage about childhood in Khalil Gibran’s The Prophet, ‘You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.’
