Living Arrows 6/52

This photo was taken on Saturday morning. We took part in #1day12pics, a project run on the first Saturday of each month by Emma Davies. We managed to take a photo an hour as a snapshot of our day and this was the first one we snapped! Archie got games aplenty for his Christmas and birthday and now and again he will ask to play a game of hungry hippos or this Jake and the Neverland Pirates version of operation. It is nice to see him stay still and concentrate of something other than trains for once, a sure sign of his development and increased concentration span.

Living Arrows is a weekly photography project organised by Hayley at Shutterflies. She describes the project as ‘a moment of parenthood that made you feel inspired to press the shutter.’ The name is derived from a passage about childhood in Khalil Gibran’s The Prophet, ‘You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.’Living Arrows
