Slimming World

I have been off track this last month, my last weigh-in was the 28th March and since then I have spent many of my days sitting in the library with relatively little exercise and no spare time to prepare meals in advance. This was followed by finishing up work at the hospital then relaxing with friends and family since then. Which inevitably has led to weight gain. I weighed in this morning and only gained half a pound over the last month. Line drawn and I am back on track. I am going back to basics, avoiding carbohydrates and filling up on speed (S) and protein (P) foods and trying to make most of my meals fit the extra easy SP criteria. I did an online shop, which arrived this afternoon and is full of speed foods and syn free foods, so I hope that this time next week when I start my new job I will weigh lighter. Here is this weeks dinner time plans:

Thursday
Curried chickpeas
Sweet and sour lentil dhal
Served with small amount of pilau rice

Friday
Honey & mustard salmon served with plenty of ‘speed’ vegetables

Saturday
Slow-cooked BBQ pulled gammon served with plenty of ‘speed’ vegetables

Sunday

    1. Thanks Emma, I was fearing the worst but i find the key to success is in the planning so I am hoping to lose a couple of pounds next week. How have you been getting on this week?

      1. I lost a pound and a half on Monday but didn’t stay to group and have eaten loads of rubbish. Funny how that works isn’t it?! Fingers crossed for a maintain! Xx
